Iron pnictides and chalcogenides are important family of high-Tc superconductors with exotic pairing mechanism which are still actively explored. The interplay between spin, orbital and lattice are very vital to understand the superconductivity and related properties.
We are interested in the electronic and magnetic properties of iron pnictides and chalcogenides.

We investigate the electronic nematicity in FeSe. Through delicate first-principles calculations with wavefunction pre-conditioning, we identify a previously unknown nematic solution on the paramagnetic energy landscape, which exhibiting electronic structure reminiscent of recent ARPES observations.
